Astarte - Deva Bard
A century old Deva, Astrate has been traveling over the face of Dragonsea spreading joy, song, and laughter to Dragonsea. Appearing from a Temple of Kas, she has reincarnated countless time, but her last life is a complete mystery to her. A sense of growing urgency has led her to be more proactive in finding out who she was last time, and why she can't remember. She has recently teamed up with a shifter and kobold duo, who though slightly unscurpulous, she believes they are essential to the mysteries surrounding her.
Deanavier - Shifter Avenger
Practically raised onboard the Vigilant, Deanavier is a life long privateer. His life onbaord ship has shaped him greatly and he has developed special skills above that of a normal crewman. A sort of "bounty hunter" on board ship, Deanavier is at his best when he tracking or hunting his prey, be it beast or dragonkind. The recent catcaclysmic failure of the last mission threatened Deanavier's chances of staying onboard what is practically his home, but a chance encounter with "lubbers" helped Deanavier prove to his captain that he was still worthy to stay onboard ship.
Gradix - Shifter Ranger
A sailor by trade and upbringing, Gradix has been around ships since his birth. His father, a somewhat notable ship's captain himself, exposed Gradix to the wonders and adventure of sealife and it has stuck since. Recent events found Gradix and his previous crew on the wrong side of a naval cannon. Scuttling their ship and mostly going their seperate ways, Gradix soon found himself out of harm's way. Life on land however soon caught up with Gradix, and with his friends, sought out life aboard ship again.
Jaa'lik - Kobold Rogue
One could claim Jaa'lik has size issues, that same person however would usually be found penniless or dead soon thereafter, more often both. Spending much of his time "freelancing" about Dragonsea, Jaa'lik's trail of broken bones and broken cargo locks, has made him less than welcome in a number of ports. Jaa'lik has rejected the standard kobold way of life or groveling, worshipping and shameless servitude of the nearest dragon. Now he is aboard the Vigilant, and sees his future prospects growing.

Torrin - Dragonborn Sorceror
Torrin was born amidst a fierce winter storm. It was this same ominous weather that would claim his parent's fishing boat and their lives. Now orphaned, Torrin was left to the care of the Watchtower Vigilants, where he tried to take up the life of a Paladin. Despite his natural physical skill that would serve him well as a Paladin, Torrin never quite got past the early stages of training. Instead, he was drawn to the arcane activities that some members of the Watchtower Vigilants were researching. Never quite understanding magic on the intellectual level of the scholars, Torrin felt a baser connection to the energies that were permeating throughout the tower around him. Slowly Torrin was able to use his own body to harness that magic. Not fully able to control these fledgling powers, Torrin accidentally unleashed his arcane powers at a most inopportune time, destroying an experiment of one of the lead researchers. Rather than face their wrath, Torrin stole away before the accident was uncovered, hoping to find his place in the world. His travels led him to encountering the wizard Zerith and the fire Genasi Ki-Amar. He now finds himself at a new chapter of his travels across the waters of Dragonsea.
Zerith - Githyanki Wizard
Raised in a very isolated Githyanki cadre, Zerith has always been plagued by his pursuit of knowledge. His mental gifts were often viewed by the rest of his cadre as having the greatest potential they foresaw great deeds in his future. During a major rite of passage, Zerith attempted a powerful mind technique no previous Githyanki had ever been able to perform successfully. His attempt to seperate mind and body however left him scarred. Whether he succeeded or not is unknown, but since that day Zerith has been struck by a powerful wanderlust, and a obsession with the pursuit of knowledge of the world around him. Zerith is convinced there is a world beyond the Veil of Io and seeks any and all evidence to that end.
