Professor Soren Lios
The halfling professor of Morgrave University, despite being an utter klutz and scatterbrain, is an expert in archeology and xenobiology. He is considered very well informed in various rare creatures and monsters from Xen'drik as well as well versed in many of the more obscure lost civilizations of the continent. He various works on the Lost Magical Artifacts of the Sul'atar and the Everday Lives of Xen'drik Fauna, has earned him moderate respect of his peers, but he is still seen as an outsider in the academic community. Still, his skill at learning about a new species is without peer and many adventurers and adventuring companies seek him out to learn about various new threats.
Captain Scar
Despite her association with the guild, Captain Scar, also known as Kria, is not a member of the guild. Kria, an Ogress, has merely continued the tradition of the previous Captain Scars of working very closely with the guild on an number of well paid excursions. Though their job is mostly that of courier and transport, Kria and crew have been known to be hired for more involved work and, despite hiring sometimes the worst of the worst, they always come through for the guild.
Captain Scar commands the Red Maiden, a unique airship with two elemental rings for increased speed and maneuverability. Though it does not have the sheer size or fire power of the newer ships, the Red Maiden can outrun virtually any other ship or creature in the skies.
