THE GUILD
Byron the Shifter
A powerful shifter of immense strength, Byron is also the personal bodyguard of the legendary healer known as Lia d'Deneith. His skill with his magical mauls are rarely matched, and few opponents survive his full strength when he taps the primal power of his species and almost totally transforms into a great beast. He is fiercly devoted to Lia and tolerates no harm or threat to her. One of the oldest memebrs of the guild, Byron is ranked within the guild as an Elite Member. He was last seen en route to Xen'drik with an expedition of the Silver Flame.
Cherrick
Cherrick and his brother Gavin have claimed the title of best expeditionary force in the guild. They have led countless successful missions on behalf of the guild into the Mournlands, and several personal missions as well. Cherrick has mourned the loss of Cyre and now looks forward to the day he and his brother can find closure on that tragedy.
Christinus Wyrdwalker
One of the six Council Members, Christinus has been absent from Stronghold for sometime. He attends council sessions via special magics from his current residence at Shadowhold. Though he is not the Master of Shadowhold, he is in fact the defacto leader of that enclave. Rumors persist that the schism that led to Christinus' self exile happened with Ruffles after the destruction of the House Tarkanen enclave in Sharn.
Eva Lorraine
Aristocrat, though not high born, Lady Eva Lorraine is a recent addition to the wealthy of Sharn. She arrived in Sharn less than 10 years ago and has since become almost a Baroness of expeditionary work, and treasures from Xen'drik. Her company that doubles as her personal entourage are experts as guides, and as treasure hunters, and she has been thrust in the spotlight alongside the countless other businesses seeking fame and fortune from the Dark Continent. Rumors persist that she has access to a small personal contingent, many of whom are said to be disenfranchised non-marked Deneith scions.
The truth of the matter is Lady Eva Lorraine is in fact Master Eva Lorraine, leader of the guild's Sharn enclave, Towerhold. Despite her plush surroundings, she is a very adept thief and assassin and very little escapes her sight. She is also known as the guild financier, responsible for virtually all of the "public" faces of the guild, and making sure funds keep coming into to supply all of the guild's needs.
Gavin
A knight of Cyre, Gavin and his brother have claimed the title of best expeditionary force in the guild. They have led countless successful missions on behalf of the guild into the Mournlands, and several personal missions as well. Gavin looks forward to the day of Cyre rebirth.
Hasufin Mevin Deneith
An ex-Deneith member, he and many other disenfranchised soldiers found refuge in the guild, and found a new purpose to life in the guild's mandates and actions. He is the guild's master strategist and returns to Stronghold, the home of the Guild of Heroes, often to help plan any large scale actions by the guild.
The rest of the time he divides between, Towerhold which is the base of operations for his network of informants and spies known as the Archangels, and Crystalhold, the guild's center of research. He has repeatedly passed up opportunities to be named a Master, preferring to stay at the rank of Marshall, and focus on his information network instead.
Leshallen "Leshy" Noressus d'Lyrander
A Chief Ranked guild member, Leshy is a half-elf of moderate power. He bears a lesser Mark of Storms of House Lyrander. Normally of more aloof demeanor, he recently suffered great tragedy when his long time friend was attacked during the fire rat swarm attacks of Sharn. He briefly sought the aid of the heroes in taking his companion's body to safety in what appeared to be a hidden facility within Sharn, now known as the guild's Sharn enclave, Towerhold. Leshy has vowed revenge against the Shadow Scions for the death of his long time companion.
Lia d'Deneith
Lia d'Deneith's is the only traveling Master Rank guild member. Some believe this is in part because her husband Richmond Deneith sits on the Guild Council, though many agree, she earned her power and rank. Her gifts and magics of protection and healing have been shown to be extremely powerful, and she is more than a match for any mundane threat. Through the use of magical items she is even able to treat warforged injuries, and diagnose and treat hundreds of different maladies, natural and magical.
She is also the mother of two young children whose purpose and role in the guild is currently unknown. She is often found with her guardian, a shifter named Byron.
Lilia a'Tarkanen
Also known as Shadowmirror, Lilia is an aberrant marked member of the guild. She seems to bear a powerful mark, and is known to be the leader of a mysterious group known as House Tarkanen. It is believed all of House Tarkanen is in the guild.
Malach Silversteel
Malach's reputation comes not from his actions in the guild but rather from his role as Chief Inquisitor of the Silver Flame. Not much is known about this enigmatic warforged, other than he has close personal ties to Minsc and Lia and no one else in the guild. He rose to the position after being named successor by the previous Chief Inquisitor.
Marcus Dale d'Orien
A talented member of House Orien. He is often called upon by the guild to transport guild members across Khorvaire.
Maria Dale Furen d'Orien
A powerful Orien Dragonmarked, Maria d'Orien is often called upon to use her powers on behalf of the guild. She also has great personal sway in House Orien.
Marina Deveraux
Marina is one of the guild's few Master ranked members, and is in charge of the Crystalhold Enclave in the Talenta Plains. She seems like a very competent person, whose skills in information, research and scrying are unmatched. She is in charge of all of the guild's research and magical development.
Minsc
One of the six guild council members, Minsc is the only warforged on the council and the most enigmatic member. He is the most aloof member, often times involved in personal matters that lead him away from Stronghold more often than not. Despite his seemingly personally driven agenda, he is very vocal on certain matters while he is in council and is currently Christinus' main ally on the council.
Miraluna Dreamseer
A shifter seer, and perhaps the oldest member of the Guild of Heroes, Miraluna was the main source of information inregards to the Prophecy and the people and places involved in it. Her death at the hands of the Shadow Scions has left the guild more worried than even, and has taken a deep tragic toll on her Granddaughter Selune.
Rheo d'Orien
A Master ranked member of the guild of heroes, Rheo is in fact the leader of the guild's enclave Shadowhold in the Eldeen Reaches, however since the schism in the council that led Christinus to Shadowhold, Rheo has stepped aside and taken on a more advisory role. He is very active with House Tarkanen and is often called Baron Tarkanen behind his back.
Richmond Windsor Deneith
One of the six guild council members, Richmond is an ex-House Deneith member. He has risen quickly in the guild and was voted to the council after the death of an original member. He has brought military discipline of House Deneith to the guild and was the founder behind the current guild ranks. He is a staunch ally of Ruffles, and they both have spearheaded many of the courses of actions that the guild has undertaken. He has a personal interest in freeing House Deneith from the influence of a dark figure he calls Vol.
Ruffles
One of the council members of the Guild of Heroes, Ruffles is as close to a leader as the council has amongst it's members. An unknown species, Ruffles seems to be very driven and it often seen as the most hardlined member of the council. Alongside Richmond, he has led to guild to make the most dramatic attempts at eradicating evil, especially if it is somehow demonic related.
Selune Dreamseer
A powerful seer, Selune is a rarity amongst her people, a pure white, almost albino Shifter. Her potential is seen as being the greatest the guild currently possesses, but she has been unable to overcome the grief associated wit the death of her grandmother Miraluna at the hands of the Shadow Scions. The events left her open to being used as a pawn of the Shadow Scions, but thanks to the actions of the Vanguard, she is still alive.
Silverlight
As far as anyone can tell, no one has ever met the enigmatic guild member known as Silverlight. His race, age, even gender have countless times come into question and no one has any definite answers. Even the seers and scryers of Crystalhold have no insight into the identity of this unknown being. Despite all this, Silverlight's communications, which always arrive in the form of letters, have been crucial to the guild on past occassions. His insight into secretive matters, as well as his almost prophetic like ability to see trouble coming has some in the guild worried, but no one dares ignore the words or requests of Silverlight. Silverlight has no official rank in the Guild.
The identity of Silverlight has become an obsession for Guildmistress Marina Deveraux of Crystalhold, who spends all of her freetime hoping to learn his true identity once and for all.
Vit
One of the council members of the Guild of Heroes, Vit is also a well known bard. Her skill with song has spread far and wide and has brought some good exposure to the guild. Vit meanwhile appears to be an outsider in terms of guild affairs, being focused on Lia's two children, to the extent that she has taken both children under her wing and tutors them.
Zee the Warforged
A Chief Ranked guild member, Zee is a warforged warrior of great skill and prowess. His mythril body has given him greater mobility than the his heavier counterparts. The heroes briefly witnessed his skill in combat before he was attacked viciously by the rat swarms of Sharn. His critically damaged body was taken to a secret facility in Sharn, Towerhold. Despite Lia's valiant effort to repair him, Zee in the end sacrificed his last moments to protect her from the earth cultists. His death has been classified as another assination by the Shadow Scions.
Zirin d'Vadalis
One of the six guild council members, Zirin is a dragonmarked member of House Vadalis. The only other female on the council, and the only other human, Zirin has learned to become a neutral voice on the council. She is often the voice of reason, making sure that the guild's actions are the right ones. She does however share Richmond's preoccupation with the figure known as Vol, though for what some claim are very different reasons.
